Product Review: Toucan Box

toucan box1

You might have heard of subscription boxes, one of the most well known I think are the Graze Boxes, but there are all different types out there; kids ones, craft ones, food ones, smelly ones, surprise one, pet ones…they are endless. Some UK based, some USA based and probably other European based ones too! Here is a link to a variety on offer and probably loads more undiscovered (If you discover one or know of one not on the list, please comment with a link!) http://www.allsubscriptionboxes.co.uk/

Always on the lookout for new and inspiring things for my daughter I came across the Toucan Box and noticed they had a FREE box offer going, so decided it was worth setting up an account, having a free box sent and checking it out.

The age range states from 3-8yrs, but depending on how much you are able to and want to help your little one you could get them earlier as I’ve done and either make the stuff for your little one to play with, or save them up for when they are a little more age appropriate and have a supply of craft activities at hand for those inevitable future rainy days!

The subscriptions are reasonably priced for the contents inside and you can choose between 3 sizes: Petite, Grande & Super. Each has a different number of activities and content. The larger boxes are monthly, the Petite is Fortnightly on subscription.

There is also an option on the larger boxes to add extra materials if you have more than one child. There is an extra charge for this service.

As you can see from the first image, the free and petite boxes are small enough to be popped through the letter box, the boxes are sturdy and the packaging is pleasing to look at, not overbearing and best of all they come delivered directly to your little one(s) with their name on!

Here is a look inside our recent box. There are two crafts to do in the theme of Pirates! Handy as we just celebrated International Talk like A Pirate Day!
